The POSTRS Council
The role of the Council is to oversee the operation of the Postal Redress Service. The Council consists of two independent members including the Chair, Jodi Berg, together with representatives of IDRS Ltd. and three industry representatives providing licensed postal services.
The Council’s constitution provides that its objects are to ensure that the Service is fully funded; that its independence and integrity are maintained at all times; and that the Service is maintained in a manner consistent with its obligations under the conditions of POSTCOMM approval.

Jodi Berg is a specialist in dispute resolution and has acted as the complaints adjudicator for many public bodies. She is a solicitor, a magistrate and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Jodi is a member of the Administrative Justice and Tribunals Council and the Human Tissue Authority, and is a past Executive Committee member of the British and Irish Ombudsman Association.

Bernard Quoroll is a solicitor and was a local authority chief executive for 16 years in three local authorities. He is now a member of the Administrative Justice and Tribunals Council, an international election observer and a commercial and community mediator.

Anne Fletcher, Compliance Director at Royal Mail Group was appointed on 14 June 2010. Previously Anne was with BT for almost 24 years, mainly in the legal department, where she was involved a very wide range of legal matters for all parts of the company, most recently for 9 years as Group General Counsel. Before BT, Anne worked for two firms of solicitors – Foysters, Manchester and Freshfields, London. Anne has a particular interest in equality and diversity issues as they impact the legal profession.

Michael MacClancy is Head of Regulatory Affairs for the DX Group, the UK & Ireland's leading independent mail and courier company. He has 13 years experience in the postal industry, working as both a consultant and senior manager in Germany and the UK.

Mike Granville is currently Head of Regulatory Relations for Post Office Ltd. He has previously held senior appointments in Royal Mail Group covering regulatory matters and relationships with Government, and has over 20 years experience connected with the postal industry.

Allan Connarty is the Managing Director of IDRS Ltd. He is committed to leading the company’s growth as a service provider whilst upholding its core values of independence, integrity and impartiality. Prior to this role he was Director of Operations at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators for more than 5 years, having previously worked in the downstream oil industry running a jointventure training company. He has an extensive sales and marketing background in a number of other industries and also previously served for many years as an officer in the Royal Air Force.
Veena Kanda is the Director of Business Development of IDRS Ltd. She has previously held roles in training and marketing covering a number of international jurisdictions at Norton Rose LLP, The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a private law school. A non-practising barrister and qualified consumer adjudicator, Veena is committed to promoting and further developing ADR as a method of resolving consumer disputes whilst maintaining the IDRS core values of independence, integrity and impartiality.
